Hsu Hsin-wang Ceramics Museum Introduction
This is the first tourism factory in Yingge to pass the central evaluation. Founded in 1926, it has witnessed the rise and fall of ceramic crafts in Yingge. To commemorate Mr. Hsu Hsin-Wang's exemplary life, the "Hsu Hsin-Wang Ceramic Memorial Museum" was established in Yingge in 2010, becoming the first tourism factory in the region certified by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The museum features four major experience zones: hand-throwing, hand-sculpting, underglaze painting, and mosaic collage. Additionally, there are areas for the Hsin-Wang wood kiln and factory processes (including clay preparation, casting, and product display). The factory preserves a wealth of historical artifacts, allowing visitors to learn about the development of ceramic crafts and view antique gas kilns, pottery wheels, and early pottery-making equipment, all of which can be hands-on. After transformation, the factory sells a variety of vibrant and creative ceramic products, showcasing the limitless possibilities of ceramic art creation. On-site, there are professional pottery-making experience courses available for on-site registration, with enthusiastic and friendly instructors, enabling everyone to easily learn to make pottery. This leads the public to gain a deeper understanding of the pottery industry and provides exciting experience activities, ensuring that visitors leave with joyful memories.
