Hsu Hsin Wang Ceramics Memorial Museum Introduction
This is the first tourism factory in Yingge that passed the central evaluation. Established in 1926, it has witnessed the rise and fall of ceramic craftsmanship in Yingge. To commemorate Mr. Hsu Hsin-wang's exemplary life, the "Hsu Hsin-wang Ceramic Memorial Museum" was specially set up in Yingge in 2010, making it the first tourism factory in the Yingge area to receive approval from the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The museum is divided into four main experience zones: hand-throwing pottery, hand-sculpting clay, underglaze painting, and mosaic collage. Additionally, there are areas such as the Xinwang Anagama kiln and the factory process zone (clay preparation area, slip casting area, and product display area). The factory preserves a rich collection of historical artifacts, allowing visitors to understand the development of ceramic craftsmanship, as well as see antique gas kilns, wheel-throwing machines, and foot-powered potter's wheels among early pottery equipment, all of which can be practically experienced. After transformation, the factory sells a variety of lively and creative ceramic products, showcasing the endless possibilities in ceramic creation. There are also professional pottery experience courses available on-site with on-site registration, where enthusiastic and friendly instructors guide participants to easily learn pottery making, leading the public to gain an in-depth understanding of the pottery industry while providing exciting experience activities that leave travelers with joyful memories.
