Hsu Hsin-Wang Ceramics Memorial Museum Introduction
This is the first tourist factory in Yingge to pass the central evaluation. Founded in 1926, it has witnessed the rise and fall of ceramic craftsmanship in Yingge. In memory of Mr. Hsu Hsin-wang, a model of excellence throughout his life, the Hsu Hsin-wang Ceramic Memorial Museum was established in Yingge in 2010, becoming the first tourist factory in the Yingge area to pass the Ministry of Economic Affairs evaluation. The museum features four major experience zones: hand-throwing, hand-kneading, overglaze painting, and mosaic collage, as well as the Hsin-wang wood-fired kiln and factory process zones (clay preparation area, slip casting area, and product display area). The factory preserves a wealth of historical artifacts. Visitors can learn about the development of ceramic craftsmanship and see antique gas kilns, ball-mill machines, and foot-powered potter's wheels, all of which can be experienced hands-on. After transformation, the factory sells various lively and creative ceramic products, showcasing the infinite possibilities in pottery creation. There are also professional pottery-making experience courses available, with on-site registration, and enthusiastic instructors, allowing everyone to easily learn how to make pottery. This provides the public with an in-depth understanding of the pottery industry, along with exciting experiential activities, ensuring that visitors leave with joyful memories.
