Taihua Kiln Introduction
Tai Hua Kiln was established in 1983, embodying the spirit of breaking through the status quo and continuously innovating in areas such as kiln firing techniques, shape innovations, glaze color development, ceramic craftsmanship, exhibition space design, and industrial management strategies. In 1995, it set up an artist studio to share the kiln firing techniques of Tai Hua Kiln's glazes with ceramic artists in an open manner, providing facilities and support to refine and advance the realm of ceramic art through mutual exchange. In 1999, it established the Tai Hua Art Center, which serves as a professional exhibition space for artists' works in ceramic art, becoming a cultural environment for appreciating and enjoying ceramics. With exquisite glaze firing craftsmanship, Tai Hua Kiln nurtures the unlimited creativity and ultimate beauty of ceramic artists, leading the trends in the ceramic world. It also integrates the aesthetic elements of ceramic art with the practical functionality of daily ceramics, deepening the aesthetic connotation of daily-use pottery and enhancing the artistic taste of life, showcasing Taiwan's creative energy and solid exquisite craftsmanship in local industries. It has been designated by the Presidential Office as a kiln for producing state guest gifts, achieving an honor reminiscent of the ancient imperial "official kiln," and is even renowned as the "Yingge Palace Museum," representing an internationally recognized ceramic brand in Yingge District, having won many international design awards.
