Taihua Kiln Introduction
Taihua Kiln was established in 1983, embodying a spirit of innovation and constant creation in kiln firing techniques, shape innovation, glaze color development, ceramic painting skills, exhibition hall design, and industrial operation models and strategies. With a commitment to breaking the status quo, it has refined its own style and shaped the "Taihua Kiln" brand. In 1995, it set up an artist creation studio to share kiln firing techniques using Taihua Kiln glazes with ceramic artists in an open manner, providing facilities and support for mutual exchange and refinement of ceramic art. In 1999, the Taihua Art Center was established, serving as a professional exhibition hall for showcasing the achievements of artists in ceramic creation throughout the year and creating a cultural environment for the appreciation of ceramic art. Taihua Kiln preserves the unlimited creativity and ultimate beauty of ceramic artists through exquisite glaze firing craftsmanship, leading the trends in the world of ceramics. By integrating the aesthetic elements of ceramic art with the practical functions of daily ceramics, it deepens the aesthetic connotation of daily-use ceramics, enhances the artistic taste of life, and showcases Taiwan's creative energy and solid craftsmanship in the local industry. It has been designated by the Presidential Office as a kiln for producing gifts for state guests, achieving honors akin to those of the ancient imperial "official kilns," and even earned the nickname "Yingge Palace Museum," representing an internationally renowned ceramic brand in the Yingge District that has won numerous international design awards.
