Taihua Kiln Introduction
Taihua Kiln was established in 1983, upholding the spirit of breaking the status quo and continuously creating in aspects such as kiln firing technology, innovative designs, glaze color development, colored porcelain craftsmanship, exhibition hall design, and industrial management models and strategies, shaping the "Taihua Kiln" brand. In 1995, a creative studio for painters was set up to share the kiln firing techniques of Taihua Kiln with artists in colored porcelain creation, providing equipment and support for mutual discussions and refinement of the realm of colored porcelain art. In 1999, the Taihua Art Center was established, serving year-round as a professional exhibition hall for artists' achievements in colored porcelain creation, becoming a cultural environment for appreciation of colored porcelain art. Taihua Kiln, with its exquisite glaze firing craftsmanship, supports the unlimited creativity and ultimate beauty of colored porcelain artists, leading the trend in the world of colored porcelain. By merging the aesthetic elements of colored porcelain art with the practical functions of daily ceramics, it deepens the aesthetic connotation of everyday ceramic use, enhancing the artistic taste of life and showcasing the creative energy and solid craftsmanship of Taiwan's local industry. It has been designated by the Presidential Office as a kiln for producing gifts for visiting dignitaries, achieving an honor akin to that of ancient imperial “official kilns,” and is even nicknamed "Yingge National Palace," making it an internationally recognized ceramic brand in the Yingge District that has won numerous international design awards.
