Mudan Station Introduction
Mudan Station is located in Mudan Village, Shuangxi District, New Taipei City, and is a railway station on the Yilan Line of the Taiwan Railway Administration. It was originally known as "Wudan Pit Station" and was relocated to its current site in 1924. To reduce the gradient for train operations, a large 120-degree curve was planned within the station. Photographers who enjoy capturing images definitely should not miss the scene of train heads and tails looking at each other, making it a must-visit station for railway enthusiasts! This unique setup attracts many visitors who stop to wait for trains, as they can capture the train moving slowly through the sharp curve and even occasionally catch images of cars and trains passing side by side. This distinctive railway design has also been selected as a filming location by a well-known Japanese automotive brand for advertisements, making it an unmissable station for railway fans!
