Mudan Station Introduction
Mudan Station is located in Mudan Village, Shuangxi District, New Taipei City, and serves as a railway station on the Yilan Line of the Taiwan Railway Administration. It was originally known as "Wudan坑 Station" and was relocated to its current site in 1924. To reduce the train's gradient, a large bend of 120 degrees was planned within Mudan Station. Photography enthusiasts cannot miss the sight of trains looking at each other from the front and rear, making it a must-visit station for railway fans! This has attracted many tourists who stop here to wait for trains, as they can capture images of trains slowly passing through the large bend and occasionally catch the scene of cars and trains passing side by side. This unique railway design has also been chosen by a well-known Japanese automotive brand as a filming location for advertisements, making it an unmissable stop for railway enthusiasts!
