Mudan Station Introduction
Mudan Station is located in Mudan Village, Shuangxi District, New Taipei City, and is a railway station on the Yilan Line of the Taiwan Railways Administration. It was originally known as "Wudan Pit Station" and was moved to its current location in 1924. To ease the gradient for trains, a large 120-degree curve was designed within the station. Photographers must not miss the scene of train heads and tails facing each other, making it a must-visit station for railway enthusiasts! This has attracted many tourists who stop to wait for trains to arrive, as they can capture photos of slow-moving trains passing through the large curve, and occasionally even catch images of cars and trains running parallel. This unique railway design was even chosen as a filming location by a well-known Japanese automotive brand for an advertisement, making it an unmissable station for railway fans!
