Mudan Station Introduction
Mudan Station is located in Mudan Village, Shuangxi District, New Taipei City, and is a railway station on the Yilan Line of the Taiwan Railways Administration. It was originally called "Wudan Pond Station" and was relocated to its current site in 1924. To alleviate the slope for trains, Mudan Station features a large 120-degree bend. Photography enthusiasts cannot miss the sight of trains facing each other at both ends of the station, making it a must-visit for railway fans! This has attracted many tourists who stop here to wait for trains, as they can capture images of trains slowly passing through the sharp turn, and occasionally even see cars passing alongside trains. This unique railway design has also been used as a filming location by a well-known Japanese car brand for advertisements, making it an unmissable station for railway enthusiasts!
