Mudan Station Introduction
Mudan Station is located in Mudan Village, Shuangxi District, New Taipei City, and serves as a railway station on the Yilan Line operated by the Taiwan Railway Administration. Initially known as "Wudan Keng Station," it was relocated to its current site in 1924. To ease the train's gradient, a large 120-degree bend was designed within the station. Photographers should not miss the sight of trains passing each other at this station, which is also a must-visit for railway enthusiasts! This unique feature attracts many visitors who stop to catch trains arriving, as it provides opportunities to photograph trains slowly navigating the curve and occasionally captures scenes of cars and trains passing side by side. The distinctive railway design has even been featured as a filming location in advertisements for a well-known Japanese automotive brand, making it an unmissable stop for railway fans!
