Nantian Garden Introduction
Nantian Flower Garden is located behind Nantian Temple in Xinjili, just a five-minute walk from Shuangkeng Railway Station. Nantian Temple enshrines Guandi, the God of War, who is also known as Guan Yu from the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms." The temple has a thriving incense offering, surrounded by lush greenery that blooms year-round. One of the Eight Scenic Spots of Shuangkeng is here at Nantian Temple, especially the three hills behind the temple where azaleas, cherry blossoms, and sweetgum trees compete in beauty, creating a stunning landscape. There are also ancient cannons, pavilions, and a health trail with wooden railings that wind through the scenic area, attracting visitors seeking tranquility. Due to its beautiful scenery and fresh air, Nantian Flower Garden has become a popular spot for morning exercise among locals, with many participants arriving at dawn. Walking along the trail of the flower garden, the blooming flowers on both sides warmly welcome visitors, creating an increasingly serene atmosphere. Climbing up for a distant view brings a sense of joy and relaxation.
