Nantian Garden Introduction
Nantian Flower Garden is located behind Nantian Temple in Xinjili, just a five-minute walk from Shuangxi Train Station. Nantian Temple is dedicated to Guansheng Dijun, also known as Guan Yu, the heroic figure from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The temple is bustling with activity throughout the year, surrounded by lush flowers that bloom continuously. One of the Eight Scenic Spots of Shuangxi is here at Nantian Temple, especially with the azaleas, cherry blossoms, and sweetgum trees competing for beauty on the three hills behind the temple, creating a stunning view. There are also historical cannons, pavilions, and health trails with wooden railings meandering through the area, attracting visitors with its serene scenery. Due to its breathtaking views and fresh air, Nantian Flower Garden has become a popular spot for locals to exercise in the morning, with a steady stream of people arriving at dawn. Walking along the path of Nantian Flower Garden, the blooming flowers on both sides welcome visitors, and the deeper one goes, the quieter it becomes. Climbing to a higher vantage point brings joy and relaxation.
