Dajia Noodle Museum Introduction
Da Jia Noodle Home is the first to introduce Taiwanese noodles into the cultural and creative industry, sparking a new revolution in Taiwanese noodles. The family has over 80 years of history in noodle-making since 1934. In 2006, the third generation heir, Liu Shih-Hsin, broke the traditional business model and established the "Da Jia Noodle Home" brand, creatively integrating traditional noodles with cultural elements, making them the best gift for festive occasions. After ten years of transformation, we have won numerous awards, including the 2014 Taiwan OTOP Top Ten Product Design Award from the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, the 2015 Taiwan OTOP Top Ten Quality Enterprises Award, the 2016 Taichung City Top Ten Gift Award Jury Grand Prize, the 2016 Taichung City Chamber of Commerce Top Ten Gift Award, among others. With over 80 years of noodle-making techniques and cultural heritage, Da Jia Noodle Home emphasizes promoting local culture in Dajia, Taichung by incorporating Dajia champion taro into the noodles, creating Taiwan's first taro noodles. This brings traditional noodles into a whole new realm. Da Jia Noodle Home allows customers not only to gain more health nutrients while enjoying noodles but also to convey the heritage and stories of the brand to everyone. "Da Jia Noodle Home" adheres to the spirit of providing healthy noodles for noodle lovers, insisting on the use of only natural, high-quality ingredients, and never adding any artificial flavorings, colorings, or preservatives to the noodles, delivering the most "authentic" and "real" noodles for the public to enjoy! 1934: Dajia Noodle Factory Established 2006: Transformation to establish the "Da Jia Noodle Home" brand 2007: Established Dajia Benjia Co., Ltd. 2009: Expanded into Mainland China 2012: Established Noodle Home Food Co., Ltd. 2012: Entered Hong Kong 2014: Handmade practical gift box won the Ministry of Economic Affairs Small and Medium Enterprise Administration OTOP design award 2015: Awarded the Ministry of Economic Affairs Small and Medium Enterprise Administration OTOP Top Ten Quality Enterprises 2016: Taro Taiwan gift box won the Taichung City Top Ten Gift Award Jury Grand Prize 2016: Taro Taiwan gift box won the Taichung City Chamber of Commerce Best Gift Award 2017: Selected as one of Taiwan's Top 100 Rural Boutique/Enjoy Taro Taiwan 2017: Noodle Home Food Co., Ltd. factory completed and operational 2017: Established Da Jia Noodle Home Story Museum 2018: Received ISO 22000 & HACCP international food safety control system certification 2018: Expanded into the Philippines 2019: Obtained organic agricultural products and organic agricultural processing products certification 2019: Entered the United States 2019: Awarded Excellent Innovative Old Store by the Ministry of Economic Affairs for 2019 2019: Won the Taiwan Service Innovation Award for Store Model/Marketing Innovation 2019: Awarded Taichung City Top Ten Gift Goodies Label 2020: Received revised certification for ISO 22000 & HACCP international food safety control system 2020: Awarded Taichung City Top Ten Gift Goodies Label Opening Hours: Monday to Friday / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Company/Story Museum) Saturday and Sunday / Group appointments for visits (Story Museum) Address: No. 153, Zhongyi 2nd Road, Dajia District, Taichung City Contact Number: 04-26862239 Email: noodlesorigin@gmail.com Text and images provided with the assistance of the Taichung City Industry Story Museum Development Association.
