Dajia Noodle Museum Introduction
Da-Jia Noodle House is the pioneer in integrating Taiwanese noodles into the cultural and creative industry, leading a new revolution in Taiwanese noodle production. With a history of over 80 years in noodle making since 1934, the third-generation heir Liu Shih-Hsin broke traditional business models in 2006 and established the "Da-Jia Noodle House" brand, transforming traditional noodles into aesthetically pleasing festive gifts. Over the past decade, we have received numerous awards, including the 2014 Taiwan OTOP Top Ten Product Design Award from the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, the 2015 Taiwan OTOP Top Ten Quality Enterprises, and the 2016 Greater Taichung City Top Ten Souvenirs Jury Grand Prize, among others. With over 80 years of noodle-making techniques and cultural heritage, Da-Jia Noodle House promotes local culture from Dajia, Taichung, using champion taro from Dajia in their noodles, creating Taiwan's first taro noodles. This simple noodle has entered a brand-new realm. Da-Jia Noodle House ensures that customers not only gain more health benefits from eating noodles but also conveys the story and legacy of the brand, established for over six decades, to everyone. Adhering to the spirit of providing healthy noodles for noodle lovers, Da-Jia Noodle House insists on using only natural, high-quality ingredients without any artificial flavors, colorings, or preservatives, delivering the most "authentic" and "genuine" noodles for the locals to enjoy! 1934: Dajia Noodle Factory established 2006: Rebranded as "Da-Jia Noodle House" 2007: Established Dajia Noodles Limited 2009: Entered mainland China 2012: Established Noodle Master Foods Co., Ltd. 2012: Entered Hong Kong 2014: Handmade gift box won the OTOP Design Award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs 2015: Awarded the OTOP Top Ten Quality Enterprises by the Ministry of Economic Affairs 2016: Taro Taiwan gift box won the Grand Prize at the Greater Taichung City Top Ten Souvenirs Jury 2016: Taro Taiwan gift box won the Best Souvenir Award from the Taichung Chamber of Commerce 2017: Selected as one of Taiwan's Top 100 Rural Brands/Taro Taiwan 2017: Noodle Master Foods Co., Ltd. factory completed and operational 2017: Established the Da-Jia Noodle House Story Museum 2018: Obtained ISO 22000 & HACCP international food safety management system certification 2018: Entered the Philippines 2019: Certified organic agricultural products and organic agricultural processed products 2019: Entered the United States 2019: Awarded the 108th Year Excellent Innovative Old Store by the Ministry of Economic Affairs 2019: Won the Taiwan Service Innovation Award for Store Style/Marketing Innovation 2019: Received the Good Souvenir Label from Greater Taichung City Top Ten Souvenirs 2020: Renewed ISO 22000 & HACCP international food safety management system certification 2020: Received the Good Souvenir Label from Greater Taichung City Top Ten Souvenirs Opening Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (Company/Story Museum) Saturday and Sunday: Group visits by appointment (Story Museum) Address: 153 Zhongyi 2nd Road, Dajia District, Taichung City Contact Number: 04-26862239 Email: noodlesorigin@gmail.com Content provided in collaboration with the Taichung City Industry Story Museum Development Association.
