Taichung City Cultural Heritage Bureau - Museum of Fine Arts Introduction
The Taichung City Art Museum is located on the north side of the second floor of the Art Center in the Gang District. The space covers approximately 340 square meters. It was established in 1999 and officially opened in 2001. By collecting and recording works, audio-visual materials, and literature of both veteran and contemporary Taiwanese artists, the museum aims to become a cultural base that documents the history of art development in the Greater Taichung area. For over 20 years, the museum has continuously collected and exhibited related materials of Greater Taichung artists, promoting public understanding of the art development context in Greater Taichung, as well as the relationships between artists, their artistic careers, and their achievements.
