Luliao Clothing District Introduction
Taiwan's garment and apparel industry has become a major export product of the textile industry, supported by factors such as market demand, technology, and capital. Located in the Shalu District, this area has played an important role in the entire history of garment development in Taiwan. The garment processing industry in Shalu District has flourished alongside the development of the commercial and industrial economy and decades of local industrial characteristics. It has thus become the main hub for garment manufacturing and wholesale in Taiwan, with a peak of more than 550 processing factories concentrated around Guangrong Street, Guangzheng Street, Fuan Street, and Chenggong East Street. The wholesale market is primarily located along Zhongshan Road, particularly in the areas of Jinhua Street and Laiyi Street.
