縱貫鐵路海線清水車站-清水車站

Qingshui Railway Station and the Tai'an Station on the Old Mountain Line were built around the same time. Both were destroyed and rebuilt during the Great Earthquake of 1935 in the Shōwa period (Japanese colonial era). The columns of the corridor are of the reduced pillar style, but the exterior walls of Qingshui Station are adorned with grooved face bricks, presenting a simple beauty. Due to the absence of towering buildings behind the railway, the visual landscape is very expansive. Inside the station's waiting room, there are benches on both sides with cast iron frames featuring smooth and beautiful curves, a unique style that can only be seen in historical stations. The station was selected as one of Taichung's historical building attractions and was officially announced as a historical building in April 2004. Source: Taichung City Cultural Assets Office
