Liubao Park was established in August 2005, covering an area of approximately 3,000 square meters. It is a community-type park that is located next to the Tanyashen Bicycle Trail, providing a place for visitors to stop and rest when they get tired from cycling.

The location is situated on Yueh Hsiang Road in Daya District. Originally military land, it was long neglected until the Taichung City Government redesigned it. The formerly abandoned railway transport pathway has been transformed into a beautiful park featuring walking paths, public restrooms, resting benches, pavilions, grassy areas, landscape lighting, and a plaza.
