The Shangfeng Branch Library is Taichung City's first library themed around "environmental education." It has won the "Architecture and Garden Art Award" as well as the "Excellence Award" for Best Planning and Design at the National Outstanding Construction Award in 2019. Located next to Shangfeng Elementary School, the library features a red brick exterior that reflects the nearby golden wheat fields and autumn foliage. It incorporates ecological swales, indigenous planting, and an open spatial design that connects internal and external pathways, seamlessly integrating with the school and community.
