Located on National Highway No. 3, the Qingshui Service Area is often hailed by many visitors as the most beautiful rest stop on the highway. The design theme of the service area, "Qingshui Night Pearl," serves as a spiritual landmark inspired by the imagery of a lighthouse, extending the concepts of "Qingshui Light Points" and "Taiwan Flying Sails," guiding the way. The spacious hall on the first floor features various vendors where visitors can purchase many famous souvenirs and memorabilia. There is also a large aquarium in the dining area that is a favorite among children. On the second floor of the service area, there is an excellent observation deck with thoughtfully designed spaces by various vendors. From sunset to sunrise, it presents different beautiful scenery. During the day, one can enjoy a clear view of the vibrant Greater Taichung, while at night, it becomes a perfect spot for stargazing and moon-watching, with twinkling stars shining in the distance. Occasionally, there are live performances, with singers crooning, "…Welcome to the Hotel California. Such a lovely place…," creating a romantic atmosphere that makes the moon in the deep blue night sky smile.
