Located on National Highway No. 3, the Qingshui Service Area is regarded by many visitors as the most beautiful rest stop on the highway. The design concept of the service area, "Qingshui Night Pearl," serves as a spiritual landmark inspired by the imagery of a lighthouse, extending the thematic concepts of "Qingshui Light Spots" and "Taiwan Sailing." The spacious hall on the first floor features a variety of shops where visitors can purchase many well-known local specialties and souvenirs. There is also a large aquarium in the dining area that is a favorite among children. On the second floor, there is an excellent observation platform, along with spatial designs from the vendors, presenting different scenic views from sunrise to sunset. During the day, visitors can enjoy a clear and bright view of Taichung, while at night, it becomes an ideal spot for stargazing and moon watching, with distant starlight twinkling. Occasionally, live singers perform, singing, “...Welcome to the Hotel California. Such a lovely place...” The romantic atmosphere makes the moon in the deep blue night sky smile.
