Located on National Highway No. 3, the Qing Shui Service Area is regarded by many travelers as the most beautiful rest stop on the highway. It offers not only a place to rest for travelers heading north and south but also a leisurely experience. The service area's design, "Qing Shui Night Pearl," serves as a spiritual landmark with a lighthouse motif, extending the thematic concept of "Qing Shui Light Spot, Taiwan Flying Sail," guiding the way. The spacious lobby on the first floor features a variety of shops where visitors can purchase many well-known souvenirs and gifts. The dining area includes a large aquarium that is a favorite among children. On the second floor, an excellent observation platform, along with the spatial design of the businesses, presents different scenery from sunset to sunrise. During the day, one can enjoy a clear view of Greater Taichung, while at night it becomes an ideal place for stargazing and moon watching, with the twinkling stars in the dark blue night sky. Occasionally, there are live performances, including the song, "...Welcome to the Hotel California. Such a lovely place..." The romantic atmosphere makes the moon in the deep blue sky smile.
