Taichung Qingshui Service Area Introduction
The Qing Shui Service Area on National Highway No. 3 is regarded by many visitors as the most beautiful rest stop on the highway. Located centrally, it offers travelers commuting between the north and south not only a place to rest but also a rich recreational experience. From day to night, travelers moving along the highway find themselves at Qing Shui Service Area, designed with a cruise ship motif, seemingly raising sails, complemented by a large mast installation on the top level, as if drifting in the boundless sky towards the distant Taichung Port. The design concept "Qing Shui Night Pearl" serves as a spiritual landmark with a lighthouse motif, extending the thematic concept of "Qing Shui Light Points, Taiwan Flying Sails" to guide the way. The second floor of the service area is a superb observation platform, where visitors can imagine themselves on a cruise from sunset to sunrise, overlooking Taichung's night and day scenery. The clear and bright view of Greater Taichung during the day transforms into an excellent spot for stargazing and moon viewing at night, attracting many tourists who come to appreciate the serene beauty of the night. When traveling on National Highway No. 3, a stop at the Qing Shui Service Area in central Taiwan is a must to enjoy a meal or sip a coffee, taking the time to quietly appreciate the tranquility that night brings.
