Taichung Qing Shui Service Area Introduction
The Qingshui Service Area on National Highway No. 3 is often referred to by many travelers as the most beautiful rest stop on the highway. Located in a central position, it offers north-south travelers not only a place to rest but also a rich recreational experience. From day to night, travelers passing through National Highway No. 3 find themselves in an environment designed with a cruise ship theme, as if setting sail with the wind in their sails. The large ship mast installation on the top level gives the impression of floating in the infinite skies, heading towards the distant Port of Taichung. The design concept within the service area, dubbed "Qingshui Night Pearl," serves as a spiritual landmark with a lighthouse motif, extending its theme of "Qingshui Light Points, Taiwan Flying Sails" to guide the way. The second floor of the service area serves as an exceptional viewing platform, allowing one to imagine being on a cruise ship from sunset to sunrise, taking in the day and night scenery of Taichung. During the day, the clear and bright views of Taichung are captivating, while at night, it transforms into a perfect spot for stargazing and moon watching, attracting many tourists who come to appreciate the serene beauty of the night. Traveling along National Highway No. 3, a stop at the Qingshui Service Area is a must when visiting central Taiwan to enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee and quietly experience the tranquil beauty the night brings.
