Located on National Highway No. 3, the Qingshui Service Area is often regarded by many visitors as the most beautiful rest stop on the highway. The design theme of the service area, "Qingshui Night Pearl," serves as a spiritual landmark with a lighthouse imagery, extending the themes of "Qingshui Light Spot" and "Taiwan Flying Sail," guiding directions. The spacious lobby on the first floor features various shops where visitors can purchase many well-known souvenirs and gifts. The dining area also houses a large aquarium, a favorite among children. On the second floor, there is an excellent viewing platform, combined with the spatial design of the stores, showcasing different sceneries from sunset to sunrise. From the viewing platform, visitors can enjoy a clear view of Taichung during the day, and at night, the area becomes an ideal spot for stargazing and admiring the shining stars, sometimes accompanied by live singing, "…Welcome to the Hotel California.
