Taichung Qingshui Service Area Introduction
Located on National Highway No. 3, the Qingshui Service Area is often referred to by many travelers as the most beautiful rest stop on the highway. It offers not only a place to rest for travelers commuting between north and south, but also provides a recreational experience. The design concept of the service area, named "Qingshui Night Pearl," serves as a spiritual landmark resembling a lighthouse, extending the thematic concept of "Qingshui Light Spots, Taiwan Flying Sails," guiding travelers in the right direction. The spacious first-floor hall features a variety of shops where visitors can purchase many famous local souvenirs and gifts. The dining area also includes a large aquarium, a favorite among children. On the second floor of the service area, an excellent viewing platform, along with space designed by vendors, presents different scenic views from sunset to sunrise. Visitors can enjoy the bright and clear sights of Greater Taichung during the day, while at night, it transforms into a perfect spot for stargazing and moon viewing, with twinkling stars in the distant sky. Occasionally, there are live singers performing, creating a romantic atmosphere where even the moon smiles down upon the deep blue night sky.
