Barking Dog Pit Ecological Landscape Trail Introduction
The Taiping District Office has set up numerous plant explanation boards along the route from the Dog Bite Pit to Santing Mountain to provide the public with a deeper understanding of nature and its rich resources. The mouse ridge scenic trail along the Dog Bite Pit, after completion, features wooden walkways, plant and scenic explanation signs, as well as stone benches for visitors to rest and roadside gardens thoughtfully planned in various locations. The industry road next to the bridge along the Dog Bite Pit leads to a well-designed mountain hiking trail. This circular trail serves as a new paradise for hikers, showcasing a variety of insects and plants along the way. Upon reaching the ridge peak, visitors can take a moment to rest and enjoy the view of the winding Toubian River, making it suitable for family hiking while also providing an excellent opportunity for physical exercise.
