Bitten Dog Pits Ecological Landscape Trail Introduction
The Taiping District Office aims to enhance the public's understanding of nature by installing numerous plant information boards along the route from Yaoren Dog Pit to Santing Mountain, showcasing its rich natural resources. The Mouse Peak Scenic Trail along Yaoren Dog Pit, after being renovated, features wooden plank walkways, plant and landscape information signage, stone benches for visitors to rest, and thoughtfully designed roadside gardens. Ascending the industrial road next to the Yi River Bridge along Yaoren Dog Pit leads to a well-planned mountain hiking trail, which with its circular path, becomes a new paradise for hikers. Along the way, various insects and plants can be observed, and visitors can take a break at the ridge peak, enjoying a panoramic view of the winding Touwian River, making it suitable for family hikes that promote physical health.
