921 Earthquake Memorial Park Introduction
Taiping District, located on the Chelungpu Fault, suffered severe damage from the 921 earthquake. After the reconstruction was completed, the Taiping District Office decided to build the 921 Earthquake Memorial Park in commemoration of this disaster and the spirit of rebuilding. The park spans an area of 3.5 hectares and is situated near the Guangxinglong Bridge, offering a wide view. It features a children's play area, a skating rink, and a large grassy plaza.
