921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan Introduction

The 921 Earthquake Park mostly serves as a recreational area for local residents. The children's play area includes a sandbox, and with its expansive lawns and skating rink, many parents take their children to the park to play, fly kites, and skate. The wide-open views allow for a panoramic sight of the Taiping mountain terrain, creating a refreshing experience. Standing at the park's high point and looking across the riverbank towards Taiping evokes memories of the spirit of resilience and reconstruction after the disaster, which is truly moving. The towns that were once damaged now possess a new vitality, making it even more touching.
