Wufeng Shuren Business District Introduction
In 1990, this place was a famous night market in Wufeng, which later transformed into a commercial district. Located on Shuren Road next to the Wufeng Agricultural Association in Wufeng District, Taichung City, it was originally a street-closed night market known as Wufeng Shuren Night Market. The closure area extended from the intersection of Sude Road to the intersection of Yucheng Road, making it one of the main night markets in southern Taichung at that time. In 2001, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan commissioned a consulting team to regenerate the commercial district of Shuren Road, transforming the original Shuren Road Night Market into the Shuren Road Commercial District. Before the merger of Taichung City at the end of 2010, it was one of the three major food neighborhoods in Taichung City, and it is still one of the well-known food districts in southern Taichung today.
