Wufeng Shuren Business District Introduction
In the 1990s, this area was a famous night market in Wufeng, and it later transformed into a business district. Located on Shuren Road next to the Wufeng Farmers' Association in Wufeng District, Taichung City, the original Shuren Night Market was a street-closed market, spanning from the intersection of Sude Road to the intersection of Yucheng Road, and was one of the main night markets in southern Taichung at that time. In 2001, the Business Administration Department of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs commissioned a consulting team to revitalize the Shuren Road business district, transforming the original Shuren Night Market into the Shuren Road Business District. Before the merger of Taichung City at the end of 2010, it was one of the three major food business districts in Taichung City and is now also one of the well-known food business districts in southern Taichung.
