Wufeng Shuren Business District Introduction
In the 1990s, this place was a well-known night market in Wufeng, which later transformed into a commercial district. Located next to the Wufeng Farmers' Association on Shuren Road in Wufeng District, Taichung, the original Shuren Night Market was a street-closed night market, with the closure extending from the intersection of Sude Road to the intersection of Yucheng Road, making it one of the main night markets in southern Taichung at that time. In 2001, the Industrial Development Bureau of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs commissioned a team of consultants to revitalize the commercial area along Shuren Road, transforming the original Shuren Night Market into the Shuren Commercial District. Before the merger of Taichung City at the end of 2010, it was one of the three major food commercial districts in Taichung and is now also one of the well-known food commercial districts in southern Taichung.
