Xinshe Star Wish Purple Windmill Introduction
The windmills are painted purple primarily because Xinshe is a midway rest stop for the Purple Butterfly, and also because the Xinshe shopping district represents romance and happiness with the color purple. Every year, the Purple Butterflies winter in Maolin, Kaohsiung, and the journey spans thousands of miles. Xinshe has planted tens of thousands of nectar-producing plants for these delicate guests, thoughtfully allowing them to rest and recharge here. The public art sculpture of the Purple Butterfly at the Zhongxingling parking lot signifies the determination of the people of Xinshe to revive butterflies. Combining the concept of "happiness and dreams" in Xinshe, this windmill is named "Star Wish Purple Windmill," featuring a unique shape and vibrant colors, creating an atmosphere of romantic happiness.
