Nanshih Stream Geyser Introduction
Nanshikeng Stream is located on the western side of Dadu Mountain, with its water source coming from natural springs in Shalu. Human activities in this area date back 4,000 years. This stable water supply, available year-round, is very important as the Taichung area experiences almost no natural rainfall during the winter and spring. Residents in the Shalu District rely on the water source of Nanshikeng Stream for drinking, cooking, laundry, cleaning, and irrigation.
