Nan-shi Stream Geyser Introduction
Nanshikeng Stream is located on the west side of Dadu Mountain, and its water source comes from natural springs in Shalu. Human activity traces can be found dating back 4,000 years. This stable year-round water resource is very important, as the Taichung area experiences little natural rainfall during winter and spring. Residents in the Shalu District rely on the water from Nanshikeng Stream for drinking, cooking, laundry, cleaning, and irrigation.
