Nanxi Stream Hot Spring Introduction
The Nanshikeng Creek is located on the west side of Dadu Mountain, with its water source coming from natural springs in Shalu. Human activity has been evidenced in the area for 4,000 years, and this consistently stable water resource is extremely important. In the Taichung area, there is almost no natural rainfall during the winter and spring, and the residents of Shalu rely on the water from Nanshikeng Creek for various purposes such as food consumption, drinking, laundry, cleaning, and irrigation.
