Kunxi Bay Cultural Park - Longshan Temple Introduction
The QianTai KaiJi SiKunShen LongShan Temple, commonly known as the QianTai KaiJi SiKunShen ZuShi Gong Temple, is the earliest temple in Taiwan dedicated to the worship of the QingShui ZuShi (Master Qing Shui). The temple was built around the 19th year of the Ming YongLi reign (AD 1665) by soldiers and civilians from Anxi County in Quanzhou who came to Taiwan with Zheng Chenggong. They brought the statue of QingShui ZuShi from "Anxi QingShui Yan" and the statue of SanPing ZuShi from SanPing Temple in Pinghe County, Zhangzhou, to sincerely worship at the SiKunShen shrine.
