Hai'an Road Art Street Introduction
In recent years, Hai'an Road has become the most vibrant pedestrian art district in Tainan at night. Alongside the road, remnants of houses partially demolished for road widening create a haunting scene, with exposed steel reinforcements and weathered bricks. Thanks to the strong initiative of renowned curator Tu Chao-hsien, in collaboration with dozens of artists who utilize the topography, a variety of unique styles of public art have been created, transforming the street into the most distinctive art museum. Through the projection of brilliant lights, Hai'an Road has become the most beautiful star at night. Hand in hand, taking a leisurely stroll on the wide gray-white walkway, capturing the enchanting nightscape with heart, eyes, and camera.
