Guang'an Temple Introduction
Guang'an Temple was established in the early years of the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. Its original site corresponded to the bell tower of the Ming Prince Ningjing's government office and the bell tower of the Kaiqi Martial Temple, as it was located on Mi Street (now Xinmei Street), an important thoroughfare at that time, which contributed to its thriving worship. During the Japanese colonial period, urban renovations were implemented, and the street was widened, leading to the temple's relocation to its current site, where it is now co-housed with the Xingtong Temple. The old Guang'an Temple consists of the Sanchuan Hall, Worship Hall, and Main Hall, with the Worship Pavilion supported by small stones and featuring a horse saddle roof. The Sanchuan Hall has quite exquisite wooden and stone structures and decorations.
