The Cih Tián Wǔ Miào (Temple of the War God) was established during the Zheng dynasty and has a history of over 350 years. It is dedicated to Guan Sheng Dijun (Guan Gong) and is the only Guandi temple in Taiwan officially recognized in religious rites. Guan Sheng Dijun is regarded as the ancient "God of War," known for his characteristics of justice, bravery, and loyalty, and is revered as the patron deity across various industries, believed to bring prosperity in business. At the same time, Guan Sheng Dijun is also respected by Buddhists as "Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva," meaning the guardian of temples and Buddhist law.
