Xiluo Temple Introduction
Xiluo Temple, known as the "First Temple of Taiwan," is a very important temple in the Wutiao Port area. It was established by the Guo clan in the Kangxi period (1718 AD) and is dedicated to the ancestor god of the Guo clan, Guangze Zunwang, commonly known as Shengwang Temple. With a long history and a strong flow of incense, the temple contains many precious plaques, such as "恩祐全台" bestowed by Emperor Xianfeng and "保安天下" awarded by Emperor Guangxu and President Chiang Ching-kuo, making them valuable treasures.
