Shanhua Sugar Factory Introduction
Many people associate the Shanhua Sugar Factory with the lush, well-maintained forest nearby, which often attracts photography enthusiasts and happy couples for wedding shoots. However, what lingers in the minds of many is the delightful sweet ice products. Since 1905, the air around Shanhua Sugar Factory has always been filled with the rich aroma of sugar cane being processed into sugar, creating unforgettable memories for many local residents. At the ice cream stand, there are nine flavors of ice cream and thirteen flavors of popsicles, along with a special red tea, making the place always bustling with visitors in the summer. Under the large camphor tree, elderly people reminisce about the sweet moments of their early dates, while children by the water park happily savor the cool and sweet treats. The Taiwan Sugar Corporation steam locomotive quietly continues to accompany the sugar factory, writing the stories of its sweetness.
