Yue Wang Temple Introduction
This temple was completed in the 28th year of the Daoguang Emperor's reign. After Zheng Chenggong arrived in Taiwan, this area became known as a bustling marketplace outside the city. The South Tan Port (residence of Guo Guanghou) had a harbor for small sailing boats from the mainland to dock, thriving during that time. The site of this temple is known as "Liujia Store," named for the busy street that had many shops on both sides engaged in daily commerce, a name that has been passed down to this day.
