Xianzi Linpi Wetland Park Introduction
The elongated Lianzi Linbi Wetland Park is located in the Sanmin District of Kaohsiung City, between Dingjin Back Road and the Dingjin System Interchange. It is one of the successfully restored wetland parks in Kaohsiung City in recent years, serving functions in flood retention, flood control, leisure education, and ecology. On the northern side of the park, there is an "Ecological Dense Forest Area," where the dense native Lianzi tree forest serves as the lungs of the city, buffering the ecological and environmental disruptions caused by the nearby highway. The "Ecological Maintenance Area" features deepened and dredged original terrain, creating ecological floating islands and planting areas, where aquatic plants such as ginger lily, taro, and cattails are cultivated, utilizing the self-purification mechanism of the ecological pool water. The fresh environment and natural greenery attract water birds and wildlife, while the bike paths and tree-shaded green areas provide tranquil spots for visitors to relax, making it a beautiful backyard of Kaohsiung City.
