Xianzi Linpi Wetland Park Introduction
The narrow-shaped Xinzi Linpi Wetland Park is located in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung City, between Dingjin Road and Dingjin Interchange. It is one of the successful wetland parks in Kaohsiung City in recent years, serving multiple functions such as flood retention, flood prevention, recreational education, and ecological preservation. The northern side of the park features the "Ecological Dense Forest Zone," where the lush native Xinzi trees act as the lungs of the city, blocking and buffering the disturbance caused by the nearby expressway to the ecology and environment. The "Ecological Maintenance Zone" has deepened and dredged the original terrain, creating ecological islands and water cultivation areas, where various aquatic plants such as Alpinia zerumbet, water chestnuts, and cattails are planted, utilizing the self-purification mechanism of the ecological pool to improve water quality. The fresh environment and natural greenery attract water birds and wildlife, while the bike paths and shaded green areas provide a tranquil resting corner for visitors, making it a beautiful backyard in Kaohsiung City.
