Heart of Love River Introduction
Located at the upper reaches of the Love River, where Bo-ai Road and Tongmeng Road intersect in Kaohsiung City, the Heart of Love River is formed by East Lake and West Lake. A bridge connects the two lakes, resembling a heart shape. Covering an area of 1.4 square kilometers, the Heart of Love River consists of two artificial reservoirs. The shallower East Lake serves as an ecological pool designed to create a natural habitat for aquatic life, while the deeper West Lake, in addition to flood detention and ecological functions, allows for boat navigation and docking. An aerial bridge connects the two lakes, forming a beautiful heart shape. As night falls, colorful lights illuminate the lakeside water fountain and the bridge, while the white hollow railings reflect beautiful heart-shaped patterns, resembling the most sparkling jewels on the Love River. The romantic atmosphere always attracts tourists and couples to stroll along the lakeside, reluctant to leave.
