Heart of Love River Introduction
Located in the upper reaches of the Love River at the intersection of Boai Road and Tongmeng Road in Kaohsiung City, the Heart of Love River is formed by the East Lake and West Lake. A bridge connects the two lakes, resembling a heart shape. Spanning 1.4 square kilometers, the Heart of Love River consists of two artificial flood storage lakes. The shallower East Lake serves as an ecological pool, creating a natural habitat for fish and shrimp. The deeper West Lake not only performs flood retention and ecological functions but also accommodates boat traffic on the Love River. An aerial bridge links the two lakes, forming a beautiful heart shape.
