Taiwan Tian Tan Introduction
The Taiwan Tian Tan is located at the northern end of the Dashu District, facing the Gaoping River and the Liling Bridge, surrounded by mountains on three sides, making it easily accessible with spectacular views. The Tian Tan covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, featuring an impressive welcoming arch and 99 steps leading visitors into a solemn and elegant place of retreat, with exquisite dragon reliefs adding to its grandeur. The Tian Tan is a circular structure modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, with three floors, red pillars, green arches topped with golden glazed tiles, creating a harmonious and magnificent atmosphere. The interior decorations are simple yet elegant, housing altars for the Qingshui Ancestor, the Emperor Guan, and the Jade Emperor, serving not only as a place of worship for believers but also as an excellent spot to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gaoping River.
