Taiwan Temple of Heaven Introduction
Taiwan Tian Tan is located at the northern end of the Dashi District, facing the Gaoping River and the Liling Bridge, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with convenient transportation and magnificent scenery. The Tian Tan covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, with an imposing welcoming archway and ninety-nine steps leading visitors and devotees into a solemn and elegant place of meditation, enhanced by exquisite dragon reliefs that add to its grandeur. The Tian Tan is a circular structure modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, standing three stories tall, featuring red columns, a green dome covered with golden glazed tiles, exuding a harmonious and grand presence. The interior is simply and elegantly decorated, with altars for the Chao Sheng Master, Guan Yu, and the Jade Emperor, serving not only as a worship place for devotees but also as an excellent spot to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gaoping River.
