Taiwan Tian Tan Buddha Introduction
Taiwan Tian Tan is located at the northern end of Dashu District, facing the Gaoping River and Li-Ling Bridge, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with convenient transportation and magnificent scenery. The Tian Tan covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, and the imposing welcoming archway and ninety-nine steps lead visitors and devotees into this solemn and elegant place of tranquility, with exquisite dragon reliefs adding to its grandeur. The Tian Tan is a circular structure modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, rising three stories high, with red pillars, a green dome topped with golden glazed tiles, and an overall majestic presence. The interior is simply and elegantly furnished, dedicated to the worship of the Qingshui Master, Guan Sheng Emperor, and Jade Emperor.
