Tap Water Park Introduction
Walking at the intersection of Wufu Road and Guanghua Road in Lingya District, a towering 38-meter giant colorful sphere catches the eye of passersby, bringing them delight and surprise. The park occupies one hectare and was originally the site of a large water tower built in 1960, which has since been abandoned. Due to its historical value, the city government has retained the water distribution pipeline, and the water tower, with a storage capacity of 3,800 tons, has been painted in rainbow colors. At night, it is beautifully illuminated, becoming a stunning landmark in Kaohsiung City. The park features seven landscape art pieces, with the ground paved in curved surface imagery, connected by fiber optic light strips displaying a map of Kaohsiung City and various vibrant patterns. During the day, the lush park resembles a colorful candy house, while at night, the magnificent lighting showcases a different elegance, transforming the industrial site into a beautiful new artistic style.
