85 Sky Tower Introduction
The Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower, with a height of 378 meters including the antenna, has 85 floors above ground and 5 underground levels. Completed in 1997 by architect Yuhsiang Lee and his team, it incorporates unique Chinese design elements. The structure resembles a majestic presence, with clouds adorning its shoulders like wild geese spreading their wings. It faces southeast to welcome distinguished guests from the sky, gazes westward at the Taiwan Strait, and leans north towards the Shin Kong Pier, surrounded by an intricate land transportation network that serves as a bearing for Kaohsiung's economic pulse. Riding in the beautifully romantic starlight elevator, you can reach the observation deck on the 74th floor in just 43 seconds, offering a panoramic view of the entire city of Kaohsiung, with a breathtaking aerial perspective of the bustling Kaohsiung Port and the seamless blend of sea and sky.
