85 Sky Tower Introduction
Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower, with a height of 378 meters including the antenna, has 85 floors above ground and 5 below. Completed in 1997, it was designed by architect Lee Tsung-hsien and incorporates unique Chinese elements. The tower stands majestically as if ruling over the world, with its shoulders resembling clouds and a graceful swan in flight. It welcomes distinguished guests from the southeast, overlooks the Taiwan Strait to the west, and is nestled near the Shin Kong Pier to the north, surrounded by a complex land transportation network that acts as the economic pulse of Kaohsiung City. Riding the beautifully romantic starlight elevator, you can reach the observation deck on the 74th floor in just 43 seconds, offering a panoramic view of the entire Kaohsiung City, overlooking the bustling Kaohsiung Port, where the sea meets the sky in breathtaking beauty.
