Labor Park Introduction
Established in 2003, Labor Park, located at the intersection of Zhongshan 3rd Road and Minquan Road in Qianzhen District, is the only park in the country themed around labor. The park is shaded with green trees and fragrant flowers, and the famous weekend flower market serves as an excellent spot for the public to relax and enjoy flower viewing and planting. In addition to the Labor Recreation Center and Labor University, the park features the "Workers' Memorial Monument" in the square, commemorating and mourning the laborers who sacrificed their lives due to occupational hazards during the economic development phase. Kaohsiung City is Taiwan's largest industrial city, and both Labor Park and the "Workers' Memorial Monument" aim to awaken society's awareness of labor welfare and safety, transforming past painful experiences into future vigilance and knowledge in pursuit of a safe working and labor environment.
