Labor Park Introduction

Established in 2003, Labor Park, located at the intersection of Zhongshan 3rd Road and Minquan Road in the Qianzhen District, is the only park in the country themed around labor. The park is shaded with lush trees and fragrant flowers, making it the best spot for the public to relax and enjoy flower viewing and gardening, especially during the famous weekend flower market. In addition to the Labor Recreation Center and Labor University, the park features the "Labor Fatalities Memorial," which is dedicated to commemorating and mourning the labor workers who lost their lives due to occupational injuries during the phase of economic development. Kaohsiung City is Taiwan's largest industrial city, and the significance of Labor Park and the "Labor Fatalities Memorial" is to raise public awareness of labor welfare and safety. It serves as a reminder to transform past painful experiences into future vigilance and knowledge, striving for a safe working environment and peaceful labor conditions.
