The Glory Pier is located at the estuary of the Love River and the boundary of Kaohsiung Port. It was once the No. 13 Pier, a vital hub for transporting personnel and military supplies during the Kinmen and Matsu operations. After its retirement, it was renamed Glory Pier and opened as a recreational area for tourism.

It was once a major logistics hub for transporting personnel and military supplies during the Kinmen and Matsu operations, serving as Pier 13. After its military significance ended, it was renamed Glory Pier and opened as a recreational area for tourism.
