Gongrong Wharf is located at the confluence of the Love River's estuary and Kaohsiung Harbour. It was formerly known as Pier No. 13, a key transport hub for personnel and military supplies during the Kinmen and Matsu operations. After its operations ceased, it was renamed Gongrong Wharf and opened as a recreational and tourist area.
