Soft Bridge Chitose Trail Introduction
The "Soft Bridge Chientzai Trail" was initially created by Han settlers who cleared the land. Due to the sudden surge of water in the Shangping River, they temporarily sourced materials on-site and built a makeshift bridge using yellow vines for transit. This bridge remained in use for ten years, leading the local people to refer to it as the Soft Bridge. In April and May, the trail is adorned with white oil tree flowers, and the beautiful forest scenery enhances the area. The Soft Bridge community has also made excellent efforts to conserve fireflies, allowing visitors to enjoy the stunning sight of twinkling fireflies in the night sky during the firefly season each year.
