Qilong Ancient Trail Introduction
The Qilong Ancient Trail is one of the most scenic routes in the Dashanbei Ancient Trails. There are two entrances: one is at the intersection near the Longxi Orchard, and the other is next to Fengxiang Elementary School. Along the route, it connects to the Dashu Rong Ancient Trail. Following the right path, you will encounter straight and lush Moso bamboo groves, as well as three ancient bridges made of glutinous rice and century-old stone steps, which are exquisite in craftsmanship and showcase the wisdom of our ancestors. The Yang Family Stone Pillar House is a resting spot along the trail where visitors can pause and experience the refreshing atmosphere of the forest. The diverse plant and animal ecology is another reason why this ancient trail is worth exploring. Additionally, from April to May each year, it is also one of the best places to observe fireflies.
