Qilong Ancient Trail Introduction
The Qilong Ancient Path is one of the most scenic routes among the Dasha Mountain Back Ancient Paths. There are two entrances: one is next to the Longxi Orchard at the intersection, and the other is beside the Fengxiang Elementary School. Along the way, it can connect to the Dashu Rong Ancient Path. Following the ancient path on the right, you will encounter straight and lush Moso bamboo forests, three ancient bridges built from glutinous rice materials, and century-old stone steps, which are elegantly constructed and showcase the wisdom of our ancestors. The Yang Family Stone Pillar House serves as a resting spot along the path, where you can take a moment to enjoy the refreshing sensation of bathing in the forest. The diverse plant and animal ecology is another reason why this ancient path is worth traversing; in addition, every year from April to May, it is also one of the best places to observe fireflies.
