Qilong Ancient Trail Introduction
The Qilong Ancient Trail is one of the most scenic routes in the Dashanbei Ancient Trail, featuring two entrances: one beside the Longxi Fruit Orchard at the intersection, and the other next to the Fengxiang Elementary School. Along the way, it connects with the Dashi Banyan Ancient Trail. Following the ancient path on the right, you will encounter straight and lush Moso bamboo forests, as well as three ancient bridges made of glutinous rice and a century-old stone staircase, showcasing refined craftsmanship from a long time ago, reflecting the wisdom of our ancestors. The Yang Family Stone Pillar House provides a resting place along the trail where you can pause and enjoy the refreshing experience of the forest. The diverse ecology of plants and animals is another reason to explore this ancient path, and additionally, from April to May each year, it is also one of the best spots to observe fireflies in the area.
