Qilong Ancient Trail Introduction
The Qilong Ancient Trail, among the many ancient trails in Dashanbei, is considered the most abundant in attractions. There are two entry points: one is at the junction near Longxi Orchard, and the other is beside Fengxiang Elementary School, where you can connect to the Dashi Banyan Ancient Trail midway. Following the ancient trail on the right, you will see straight rows of green Moso bamboo, as well as three ancient bridges made of glutinous rice and a century-old stone staircase. These structures, crafted long ago, are exquisite and showcase the wisdom of our ancestors. The Yang Family Stone Pillar House serves as a resting place along the trail, allowing visitors to take a moment to refresh and enjoy the comfort of being surrounded by the forest. The diverse plant and animal ecology also makes this ancient trail worth exploring. Additionally, the area is one of the best places to observe fireflies every year from April to May.
