Qilong Historic Trail Introduction

The Qilong Ancient Trail is considered one of the most scenic routes among the Dashanbei Ancient Trails. There are two entrances: one is next to the Longxi Orchard at the intersection, and the other is beside Fengxiang Elementary School. Along the way, the trail connects to the Dashu Rong Ancient Trail. Following the ancient path on the right, you will find straight and lush Moso bamboo forests, along with three ancient bridges made of glutinous rice and a century-old stone staircase. The construction is intricate and reflects the wisdom of our ancestors. The Yang Family Stone Pillar House is a resting spot along the trail where you can take a moment to enjoy the refreshing experience of being immersed in the forest. The diverse ecology of plants and animals is another reason to explore this ancient trail. Additionally, from April to May each year, it is one of the best places locally to observe fireflies.
