Xinpuyuan Farmers' Association New Farmers Market Introduction
Walking into the New Farmer's Market, you will find seasonal fruits at the entrance, fresh vegetables in the refrigerated display, dried goods like old pomelo tea, pickled mustard greens, and bitter melon slices available in the "Xinpu Specialty Area," as well as showcases of the Xinpu Farmers' Association's own brands such as "Happy Persimmon," "Quality Rice," and "Hakka Pomelo Tea." These are all high-quality local products, offering a wide variety for visitors to enjoy shopping. Every July, the Xinpu Farmers' Association also holds a Pear Festival, which takes place at the event square opposite the New Farmer's Market. Mid-July is the peak season, and the harvest continues until mid-August, allowing the public to visit and purchase at the New Farmer's Market. To promote food and agricultural education, various experiential activities are held during the Pear Festival, such as making special pear dishes and activities like Baby Bumping Fun.
