Sima Kous Trail Introduction
The trail entrance is located in the Sima Kusi Tribal area, with the endpoint at the giant tree grove. The Sima Kusi Trail is relatively flat along its route and does not have particularly difficult passages, with steep sections being short (a five-kilometer distance and an elevation difference of less than 100 meters). According to the Forestry Bureau's announcement of the top ten sacred trees in 1996, the second and third sacred trees are both located in the sacred tree area of Sima Kusi. These two sacred trees in Sima Kusi are both Red Cypress, with their trunks being large enough that it takes over twenty people holding hands to encircle them. The trail is rich in natural scenery and wildlife, making it worth observing.
