Zhenshibao Trail Introduction

The trail entrance is located at the Zhenxi Fort Visitor Center, and the main attraction of the trail is the Zhenxi Fort Giant Tree Group, which covers an area of 50 square kilometers. Within this dense forest, there are over 200 giant trees. It is said that it takes more than three days to see all the giant trees. This area also has the largest and most abundant natural forests of red cypress and hinoki in Taiwan. The entire giant tree area is divided into two routes: Area A, which was developed earlier, is located at the platform below Mount Kinashi and is also known as the Kinashi Sacred Tree Group. The difficulty level of this route is higher, and the path is less defined. Area B has a gentler path and attracts more visitors.
