Zhenxi Fort Trail Introduction

The trailhead is located at the Zhenxi Fort Visitor Center, and the main attraction of the trail is the Zhenxi Fort Giant Tree Cluster, which covers an area of 50 square kilometers. Within this dense forest, there are over 200 giant trees. It is said that it takes more than three days to see all the giant trees. This area also boasts the largest and most abundant native forests of red cypress and false cedar in Taiwan. The entire Giant Tree Cluster can be divided into two routes. Area A, which was developed earlier, is located at the platform below Jinaji Mountain and is also known as the Jinaji Sacred Tree Cluster. The trail in this area is more challenging and less clearly marked. Area B features a gentler route with more visitors.
