Zhenxi Fortress Trail Introduction

The trail entrance is located at the Zhenxi Fort Visitor Center, with the main attraction being the Zhenxi Fort Giant Tree Group. This giant tree group covers an area of 50 square kilometers and contains over 200 giant trees within its dense forest. It is said that it takes more than three days to see all the giant trees. This area also has the largest and most numerous native forests of red cypress and Taiwan cedar in Taiwan. The entire giant tree group can be divided into two routes: Area A is the earlier developed section, located at the platform under Mount Jinaqi, also known as the Jinaqi Sacred Tree Group. This route is more challenging and less clearly marked. Route B is relatively gentle and frequented by more visitors.
