Zhenxi Fortress Trail Introduction

The trail entrance is located at the Zhenxi Fort Visitor Center. The main attraction of this trail is the Zhenxi Fort Giant Tree Group, which covers an area of 50 square kilometers and contains over 200 giant trees. It is said that it takes more than three days to see all the giant trees. This area is also home to the largest and most abundant primary forests of Taiwan's red cypress and cedar. The entire giant tree group can be divided into two routes: Area A, which was developed earlier, is located at the platform beneath Kinaji Mountain and is also known as the Kinaji Sacred Tree Group. This route has a higher level of difficulty and is less clearly marked. Area B has a gentler route and attracts more visitors.
