Bulaoju is located at the 39 km mark of County Road 120 in Xinle Village, Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County. The facilities within the park are designed to maintain their natural appearance, avoiding excessive artificial modifications, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in nature and achieve a sense of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. Bulaoju offers indigenous hunting explanations and environmental tours conducted by authentic Atayal hunters, who personally introduce hunting tools and forest wisdom passed down from their ancestors. Additionally, it provides a variety of indigenous flavor meals, Yunnan dishes, and a unique winter special of whole lamb dinners, allowing visitors to indulge in delicious cuisine. In the past, when tribespeople went hunting in the mountains, they used bamboo obtained on-site to cook rice, which was the most convenient and natural cooking method. What they eat is not just rice, but a trace of life left by their ancestors. Bulaoju Farming Garden is dedicated to developing bamboo tube rice, and its bamboo tube rice gift boxes are very popular among the public. The gift box contains six bamboo tube rice packages available in three flavors: savory, millet, and coconut. In 2013, it was awarded as one of the top five indigenous characteristic souvenirs in Jianshi Township.
