Big Buddha Circular Trail (Cultural Heritage Recreation Tour) Introduction
Entering the Guashan Road from the Baguashan Archway, there is a path beside the Cultural Affairs Bureau that leads to a staircase. Following this path, one will pass the Literature Trail and the Silver Bridge Waterfall, where the famous Buddha statue comes into view. Continuing up the path in front of the Buddha Archway, visitors can also explore the Baguashan Ecological Tourism Service Center and C119 Park, where retired military aircraft can be admired, and a health trail paved with pebbles is available nearby. The midway stop, "Guashan Moonlight" restaurant, offers an excellent vantage point for overlooking the cityscape of Changhua. The Ecological Service Center provides various informative services and events, and with well-planned trail facilities, it is the best place for a family-friendly intellectual hike. Benches and pavilions are available along the trail. The trail connects various attractions such as the Buddha statue, Sky Walk, Military Aircraft Park, Changhua Lifestyle Aesthetics Museum, and Changhua Arts High School Trail, forming a connected hiking trail in Baguashan, Changhua City. Trail length: 2.02 kilometers. Walking time: 1 hour. Facilities: restrooms, Baguashan Scenic Area First Parking Lot (motorcycles, small cars, large buses), Baguashan Scenic Area Second Parking Lot (motorcycles, small cars), Changhua Lifestyle Aesthetics Museum First Parking Area (motorcycles, small cars).
The trail connects to the Grand Buddha Archway, and by ascending the stairs, one can reach the Grand Buddha Hall.
