Big Buddha Scenic Trail (Cultural and Recreational Journey of Nostalgia) Introduction
Entering the Guashan Road from the Bagua Mountain Archway, a small path next to the Cultural Affairs Bureau leads to a staircase that can be followed upwards. After passing through the Literature Trail and the Silver Bridge Waterfall, the famous Buddha statue comes into view. Continuing along the path in front of the Buddha Archway, you can visit the Bagua Mountain Ecological Tourism Service Center and C119 Park, where you can admire retired military aircraft and enjoy a health trail paved with pebbles. The mid-point restaurant "Guashan Moonlight" is an excellent spot to overlook the scenery of Changhua City. The Ecological Service Center provides various information services and event exhibitions, and with well-planned trail facilities, it is the best place for family-friendly intellectual hiking. Benches and pavilions are available along the trail. The trail connects various attractions such as the Buddha, the Sky Trail, Military Aircraft Park, Changhua Lifestyle Aesthetics Museum, and the Changhua Arts High School Trail, forming a linked trail in Bagua Mountain, Changhua City. Trail length: 2.02 kilometers. Walking time: 1 hour. Facilities include restrooms, the first parking lot of Bagua Mountain Scenic Area (motorcycles, small cars, large buses), the second parking lot of Bagua Mountain Scenic Area (motorcycles, small cars), and the first parking area of Changhua Lifestyle Aesthetics Museum (motorcycles, small cars).
The trail connects to the Big Buddha Archway, and by climbing the stairs, you can reach the Big Buddha Hall.
