Guashan Village - Aesthetic Life Settlement Introduction
The Baguashan Giant Buddha Scenic Area, in addition to the Giant Buddha, historical sites, and natural ecology, features a vibrant cultural landscape. A community of life aesthetics enthusiasts, including "artists," "creators," and "culinarians," have gathered to run their own studios, forming a unique aesthetic settlement known as "Gua Shan Village." The "villagers" here make friends through craftsmanship and creativity, expanding the imagination of everyday life and designing diverse courses for people to experience the joys of art creation, while also providing culinary delights for visitors. The circular buildings of "Gua Shan Village" are located directly opposite the path leading to the Giant Buddha and behind the Baguashan Scenic Area Visitor Center, connecting to the Baguashan Nature Ecological Park, making it a tourism hub nestled within the scenic landscape. Originally, the square was a gathering place for vendors, and the circular public facilities remained unused, which was a considerable pity. In 2020, the Changhua County Association for Creative Arts Education proposed the idea of creating a lifestyle aesthetics settlement. After a review by the county government, the plan for "Gua Shan Village" was initiated, providing a space for passionate creatives who are willing to share and allowing them to cultivate local brands in Changhua, as well as offering a stage for interaction with visitors.
