Guashan Village - Aesthetic Lifestyle Settlement Introduction
Baguashan Giant Buddha Scenic Area, in addition to the Giant Buddha, historical sites, and natural ecology, features a vibrant cultural landscape. A group of individuals who appreciate aesthetic living and practice craftsmanship, including 'artists', 'creators', and 'gourmets', gather here to run their own studios, forming a unique aesthetic community known as "Gua Mountain Village". The 'villagers' here befriend craft and creativity, expanding the imagination of daily life, and design diverse courses that allow people to experience the joy of artistic creation, as well as provide delightful culinary experiences for visitors. The circular buildings of "Gua Mountain Village" are located directly across from the path leading to the Giant Buddha, behind the Baguashan Scenic Area Visitor Center, connecting with the Baguashan Natural Ecology Park. It is considered a tourism hub situated within the scenery. Originally, the square was a gathering place for vendors, and the public circular architecture was left unused, which was quite regrettable. In 2020, the Changhua County Creative Arts and Aesthetic Education Association proposed the idea of creating a lifestyle aesthetic community. After being selected by the county government, the "Gua Mountain Village" project was initiated, providing a space for passionate creators willing to share their artistry, helping to develop local brands in Changhua, and offering a stage for interaction with visitors.
