Guashan Village - Aesthetic Living Community Introduction
Baguashan Buddha Scenic Area, in addition to the large Buddha statue, historical sites, and natural ecology, features a vibrant cultural landscape. A group of individuals who are passionate about aesthetic living, embodying the spirit of craftsmanship—"artists," "creators," and "gourmets"—have come together to manage their own studios, forming a unique aesthetic community known as "Gua Shan Village." The "villagers" here use craftsmanship and creativity to forge connections, expanding the imagination of everyday life. They design diverse courses that allow people to experience the joy of artistic creation and offer sensory delights for visitors. The circular architecture of "Gua Shan Village" is located opposite the path leading to the Buddha and behind the Baguashan Scenic Area Visitor Center, connecting to the Baguashan Natural Ecology Park, making it a travel hub situated within the scenery. Originally, the square was filled with vendors, and the circular building for public use remained unused, which felt regrettable. In 2020, the Changhua County Association for Creative Arts proposed a vision to create a community of lifestyle aesthetics. After evaluation by the county government, the "Gua Shan Village" project was initiated, offering a space for passionate creators who are willing to share, and allowing local brands in Changhua to find a creative space and interact with tourists.
