Guashan Village - Aesthetic Living Community Introduction
Bagua Mountain Buddha Scenic Area, in addition to the Buddha, historical sites, and natural ecology, also features a vibrant cultural landscape. A group of "artists," "creators," and "gourmets" who love the aesthetics of life and practice the spirit of craftsmanship gather here, operating their studios to form a unique aesthetic settlement known as "Guashan Village." The "villagers" here make friends through craftsmanship and creativity, expanding the imagination of daily life, and design diverse courses for people to experience the joy of artistic creation, providing enjoyment for the taste buds for visitors. The circular architecture of "Guashan Village" is located opposite the Prayer Path leading to the Buddha and behind the visitor center of Bagua Mountain Scenic Area, connecting to the Bagua Mountain Nature Ecology Park, making it a tourism hub situated within the scenic area. The plaza, originally a gathering place for vendors, had an idle circular public facility that was unfortunately not utilized. In 2020, the Changhua County Creative Arts Education Association proposed the idea of creating a living aesthetics settlement, which was selected by the county government through evaluation, initiating the "Guashan Village" project. This initiative provides a space for a group of passionate creators willing to share their work, allowing the development of local brands in Changhua to find a creative space and interact with tourists.
