Guashan Village - Aesthetic Lifestyle Community Introduction
Baguashan Buddha Scenic Area, in addition to the Great Buddha, historical sites, and natural ecology, features a vibrant cultural landscape. A group of individuals who are passionate about the aesthetics of life—artists, creators, and foodies—come together to run their own studios, forming a unique aesthetic community known as "Gua Shan Village." The "villagers" here make friends through craftsmanship and creativity, expanding the imagination of daily life and designing diverse courses that allow people to experience the joy of artistic creation, providing visitors with delightful culinary experiences. The circular buildings of "Gua Shan Village" are located directly across from the entrance to the Great Buddha on the path leading to it, behind the visitor center of Baguashan Scenic Area, and are connected to the Baguashan Ecological Park. It serves as a tourism hub nestled within the scenic area. The plaza, which was originally a gathering place for vendors, had a circular public building that remained unused, which was regrettable. In 2020, the Changhua County Creative Arts and Aesthetics Association proposed the idea of creating a lifestyle aesthetic community. After being selected by the county government's review, the "Gua Shan Village" project was launched, providing a space for passionate crafters willing to share and develop local brands in Changhua, giving them a stage to interact with tourists.
