Gushan Village - Aesthetic Lifestyle Settlement Introduction
Bagua Mountain Buddha Scenic Area, in addition to the Buddha statue, historical sites, and natural ecology, presents a vibrant cultural landscape. A group of individuals who love aesthetic living and embody the spirit of craftsmanship—artists, creators, and food enthusiasts—gather together to run their own studios, forming a unique aesthetic community known as "Gua Mountain Village." The "villagers" here connect through craftsmanship and creativity, expanding the imagination of daily life and designing diverse courses for people to experience the joy of artistic creation while providing a delightful experience for visitors' taste buds. The circular buildings of "Gua Mountain Village" are located directly opposite the Buddha pilgrimage path leading to the Buddha, behind the visitor center of the Bagua Mountain Scenic Area, and connect with the Bagua Mountain Ecological Park. It serves as a tourism hub situated within the landscape. Originally, the plaza was a gathering place for vendors, and the public circular building remained unused, which is regrettable. In 2020, the Changhua County Creative Arts and Aesthetic Education Association proposed an idea to create a lifestyle aesthetic community. After being selected by the county government, the execution of the "Gua Mountain Village" project was initiated, providing a space for a group of passionate creators willing to share, enabling the development of local brands in Changhua, and establishing a platform for interaction with visitors.
