Guashan Village - Aesthetic Life Settlement Introduction
The Bagua Mountain Buddha Scenic Area, aside from the Buddha statue, historical sites, and natural ecology, also showcases a vibrant cultural landscape. A group of individuals passionate about aesthetic living and dedicated to craftsmanship, including "artists," "creators," and "foodies," have gathered to manage their studios, forming a unique aesthetic settlement known as "Guashan Village." The "villagers" here connect through craft and creativity, expanding the imagination of daily life and designing diverse courses that allow people to experience the joy of artistic creation while providing palate delights for visitors. The circular architecture of "Guashan Village" is located opposite the path leading to the Buddha, behind the Bagua Mountain Scenic Area Visitor Center, and connects to the Bagua Mountain Nature Ecology Park, making it a tourism hub situated within scenic beauty. Originally, the square was a gathering place for vendors, and the circular public building was left unused, which was quite regrettable. In 2020, the Changhua County Creative Arts and Aesthetic Association proposed the idea of establishing a living aesthetics settlement. After being selected by the county government, the "Guashan Village" project was initiated, offering space for a group of passionate artisans willing to share their creations, allowing for the development of local brands in Changhua and providing a stage for interaction with visitors.
