Bagua Mountain Nature Ecological Park Introduction
Baguashan has a serene valley, where the Changhua County Government's Urban and Rural Development Bureau has invested in natural engineering to create a "Natural Ecological Park," set to reopen in 2024. This refreshing new space features the tallest slide among the county's parks with a height difference, and the 2.2-hectare area connects poetic green forests, gardens, and gathering squares such as "Yingri Pool," "Yao Yue Pool," "Xiwuy Green Slope," "Sky Mirror," and "Serene Valley Green Garden." It is a favorite among families and attracts travelers to wander and explore, providing locals with a place to relax and breathe in nature.
The Natural Ecology Park is located in the valley surrounding Gua Mountain Road, not easily noticeable. It has long been a hidden gem with multiple entrances. The main access is next to the visitor center of the Nantai Buddha Scenic Area. Following the gentle slope down, you are greeted by a large green bunny popping out playfully, as if climbing up the wall to wave hello to visitors, welcoming you to the parent-child exploration area.
The Parent-Child Exploration Zone utilizes the existing hillside to create two colorful tube slides with a height difference of 8.5 meters, measuring 27 meters in length, and a height difference of 6 meters, measuring 18 meters in length. This sets the record for the largest height difference of slides in Changhua County, allowing children to enjoy the thrill of speed. One slide is definitely not enough; there are stairs to climb and slide again and again. Additionally, a climbing wall and a rope-based wave climbing frame are designed on the slope, encouraging children to exert themselves and ascend to the top of the slide, which not only enhances physical fitness but also adds a sense of adventure. In the uphill section, there are also balance jumping platforms and climbing frames made from logs, providing a variety of experiences.
