Fenghuang Flower Season in Changhua Introduction

Whenever the flame tree blossoms and the song of the lyre echoes, it is also the time when students graduate and leave campus. The blooming flame trees resemble a sea of red flames and are thus considered one of the most colorful trees in the world, with heights reaching over 20 meters. Since the flame tree typically blooms in May, June, and July, coinciding with graduation season in Taiwan, it has become a symbol of this occasion. Next to the Buddha on Bagua Mountain is the "Bagua Mountain Skywalk," a winding white sky bridge with seven entrances and exits, crossing over Guashan Road from above. In May and June, visitors can see the flame trees in full bloom beside it, with bright red petals dotting the green leaves, celebrating the arrival of summer! On Lütien Road in Xizhou Township, Changhua County, located at the junction of Xizhou, Tianzhong, and Ershui, connects the Dazhuang community with the Chenggong community. Here, a 2-kilometer-long avenue of flame trees is planted, which blooms beautifully each year during the flower season. The line of trees, adorned with festive red flowers, creates a vibrant spectacle, and the ground and trees are awash in red, forming a dazzling green tunnel. In recent years, media coverage has attracted numerous visitors to explore this rural hidden gem. During the bloom, as the flame trees resemble giant red umbrellas, strolling under the Xizhou flame tree tunnel while admiring the lush green rice waves in the surrounding fields can lighten one's mood, allowing one to enjoy the tranquil and slow beauty of the countryside in the early summer breeze!
