Changhua Flame Tree Season Introduction

Whenever the flamboyant flowers bloom and the graduation songs are heard, it marks the time for students to graduate and leave campus. The blooming flamboyant flowers resemble a sea of red flames, earning it a reputation as one of the most vibrantly colored trees in the world, with heights reaching over 20 meters. As the flamboyant flowers bloom mainly in May, June, and July, coinciding with the graduation season in Taiwan, they are also regarded as a symbol of this special time. Adjacent to the Buddha's statue on Baguashan is the "Baguashan Sky Walk," a winding white bridge with a total of seven entrances and exits, spanning across the air through Guashan Road. In May and June, you can see the flamboyant flowers blooming alongside, with bright red petals decorating the green leaves, as if celebrating the arrival of summer! Located at the intersection of Xizhou, Tianzhong, and Ershui in Changhua County, Green Bamboo Road features a 2-kilometer stretch of flamboyant trees connecting the Dazhuang and Chenggong communities. During the flamboyant flower season each year, the entire row of trees appears to be dressed in festive beautiful red flowers, with the ground and trees a brilliant red, creating a stunning green tunnel. Recently, media coverage has attracted many visitors to explore this rural secret haven. Walking beneath the magnificent red umbrellas of blooming flamboyant flowers in the Xizhou Flamboyant Flower Tunnel, while admiring the lush green rice waves in the surrounding fields, one cannot help but feel relaxed as they enjoy the tranquil and slow beauty of the countryside in the gentle early summer breeze!
