Each time the royal poinciana blossoms and the songs of graduation resonate, it marks the day when students depart from campus. The blooming flowers resemble a sea of red flames, thus being hailed as one of the most vibrant trees in the world, with a height that can reach over 20 meters. Since the royal poinciana usually blooms in May, June, and July, coinciding with the graduation season in Taiwan, it is also regarded as a symbol of graduation. The "Bagua Mountain Sky Walk," located beside the Bagua Mountain Buddha, is a winding white sky bridge with a total of seven entrances and exits, allowing passage above Guashan Road. In May and June, one can see the royal poinciana in full bloom nearby, with its vibrant red petals adorning the green leaves, celebrating the arrival of summer! Green Bamboo Road in Xizhou Township, Changhua County, is situated at the border of Xizhou, Tianzhong, and Ershui, connecting the Dazhuang community and the Chenggong community. This area features a two-kilometer stretch of royal poincianas. Every year during the blooming season, the flowers burst forth, and the line of street trees appears to wear festive beautiful red floral dresses, creating a dazzling scene of bright red both on the trees and the ground, resembling a green tunnel. In recent years, media coverage has attracted many tourists to this rural secret paradise. When the royal poincianas blossom like large red umbrellas, strolling beneath the royal poinciana tunnel in Xizhou while admiring the lush green rice waves in the fields on both sides brings a sense of ease, allowing one to enjoy the tranquil and slow beauty of the countryside in the early summer breeze!
