Changhua Phoenix Flower Season Introduction
Every time the flamboyant flower blooms and the graduation song resonates, it marks the time for students to graduate and leave campus. The blooming flamboyant flowers resemble a sea of red flames, thus being regarded as one of the most vividly colored trees in the world, with heights reaching over 20 meters. Since the flamboyant flowers usually blossom in May, June, and July, coinciding with the graduation season in Taiwan, they are also seen as a symbol of graduation. Next to the Buddha on Baguashan, the "Baguashan Sky Walk" is a winding white sky bridge with a total of seven entrances and exits, crossing Guashan Road in the air. In May and June, one can see the flamboyant flowers blooming nearby, with their bright red petals adorning the green leaves, celebrating the arrival of summer! Green Bamboo Road in Xizhou Township, Changhua County, is located at the junction of Xizhou, Tianzhong, and Ershui, connecting the Dazhuang community with the Chenggong community. It features a 2-kilometer stretch of flamboyant trees. Every year during the flamboyant flower season, the trees blossom profusely, with the entire row of roadside trees dressed in splendid red floral attire, creating a dazzling scene that resembles a green tunnel. In recent years, media coverage has attracted many tourists to visit this rural secret spot. When the flamboyant flowers bloom, they appear like a splendid red umbrella. Strolling under the flamboyant flower tunnel in Xizhou, one can appreciate the lush green rice waves in the nearby fields, bringing a relaxed mood as leisurely as one’s footsteps, enjoying the tranquil and slow beauty of the countryside in the early summer breeze!
