Neihu Forest Elementary School Introduction

Neihu Forest Elementary School is located next to County Road 151, which leads to Xitou Forest Recreation Area. After the 921 earthquake, the school became the last among the 293 schools rebuilt due to difficulties in acquiring land for relocation. It aims to develop ecological education as a forest ecology elementary school. Neihu Forest Elementary School is entirely constructed using timber, following the architectural plan for reconstruction, with a total budget of approximately 75 million NTD. The design aims to minimize damage to the existing ecology of the site and fully integrates the local landscape characteristics. The school is divided into teaching areas, ecological areas, specialized classrooms, administrative areas, dormitory areas, and activity areas, making it a forest school nestled among lush trees.
