Neihu Forest Elementary School Introduction
Neihu Forest Elementary School is located next to County Road 151, which leads to Xitou Forest Recreation Area. After the 921 Earthquake, the relocation of the school faced many challenges, making Neihu Elementary School the last of the 293 schools to be rebuilt. It is a forest ecological elementary school aimed at developing environmental education. The entire Neihu Forest Elementary School is constructed using raw wood as building material, and the reconstruction was carried out according to the architectural plan, with a total budget of approximately 75 million NT dollars. The planning aims to minimize damage to the original ecology of the site and fully integrate with the local landscape features. The school is divided into several areas, including teaching area, ecological area, specialized classrooms, administrative area, dormitory area, and activity area, making it a forest elementary school nestled among lush trees.
