Deh Hsing Waterfall Introduction

The Deqing Waterfall is located on the Xiaobantian Mountain Zhu Lake Industry Road in Lugu Township and belongs to the tributary Chuzai Creek of the Dongpu Ruishi Creek. It is formed by the disintegration of the Diezima Pit rock formation, with water flowing from Dalu Mountain. The waterfall is divided into upper and lower layers, with a total height of over 50 meters. Visitors can climb up to the upper level via a side path for viewing. Due to years of erosion from the creek, the upper waterfall has formed a deep basin with a pot-like shape, from which the water overflows and cascades down to the second layer. The water flows continuously throughout the year, and the pool below is crystal clear and refreshingly cool. The surrounding rock walls rise steeply, and the area is rich in forests, wild birds, and creek ecology, with beautiful stands of Moso bamboo to appreciate along the way.

Transportation Methods：*Driving Route South: National Highway No. 1 → Take the Xiluo Interchange Exit → Follow Provincial Highway 1 and 1 B through Catong to Douliu → Turn onto Provincial Highway 3 through Linnan to Zhushan → After crossing the Jiangpu Bridge, turn right onto County Road 151 towards Lukgu → Go through Lukgu to Guangxing Village → Follow the signs on the right for Zhulin Village → At the intersection of Guangfu Road and Tiantou Lane in Zhulin Village → You will see the signs directing to the waterfall. Northbound: National Highway No. 3 → Zhushan Interchange → Taiwan Route 3 → County Road 151 → Lukgu → Dexing Waterfall* Bus Route: Take the Yuanlin Bus from Zhushan to Zhulin Village → Get off at the terminal (seven buses daily, then walk the trail)
