Daxing Waterfall Introduction

Dehsiung Waterfall is located on the Xiaobantian Mountain Zhuhuk Industrial Road in Lugu Township, and is part of the tributary Chuzai Creek of the Dongpu Ruixi River. It was formed by the erosion of the Die Si Ma Keng rock layer, with its water source originating from Dalu Mountain. The waterfall consists of an upper and lower tier, with a total height of over 50 meters. Visitors can hike up a side path to reach the upper tier for viewing. Over the years, the upper tier has been continuously eroded by the creek, forming a deep basin. The water spills over into the lower tier, resulting in a year-round flow of clear, cool water. The surrounding cliffs are towering, the greenery is lush, and the area is rich in wildlife, including various birds and aquatic life. Along the way, there are beautiful stands of Moso bamboo to enjoy.

Address：Dehsing Waterfall, Zhulin Village, Lugu Township, Nantou County

Transportation Methods：*Driving route southbound: National Highway No. 1 → Exit at the Xiluo Interchange → Follow Provincial Highway No. 1 and No. 1丁 through Citong to Douliu → Turn onto Provincial Highway No. 3 through Linnei to Zhushan → After crossing the Jiangpu Bridge, turn right onto County Road No. 151 heading towards Lukut → Pass through Lukut to Guangxing Village → Follow the signs towards Zhulin Village on the right side of the road → Arrive at the intersection of Guangfu Road and Tiantou Alley in Zhulin Village → You will see the signs leading to the waterfall. Northbound: National Highway No. 3 → Zhushan Interchange → Taiwan Road No. 3 → County Road No. 151 → Lukut → Dexing Waterfall.* Bus route: Take the Yuanlin Bus from Zhushan to Zhulin Village → Get off at the terminal (there are seven buses daily, then proceed on foot along the trail).
