Jianhu Ciguang Temple Introduction
Ciguang Temple is located in Jianshan Lake, Gukeng Township, Yunlin County. It is surrounded by the beautiful Ling Mountain, with natural Jianshan Lake in front, reflecting the sky year-round. The temple is backed by the forested Jianshan, casting shadows over the lake, while it offers a panoramic view of the vast Chianan Plain to the west and is guarded by the Central Mountain Range to the east, specifically the majestic Dajian Mountain. Attraction Features: Ciguang Temple underwent two major reconstructions and completed its overall architecture in October 2003. It embodies a humble and introverted northern architectural style. Since the arrival of Master Yuanjiao, Ciguang Temple has been developing for over thirty years, experiencing two reconstructions during which it has diligently implemented various charitable, educational, and Dharma propagation efforts. Now, with its solemn appearance, Ciguang Temple joyfully embraces the opportunity to create countless good connections with monks from all directions in the world.
