The Origin of Yanqing: The Yanqing Puppet Carving Studio was established in 1974 by Mr. Hsu Yanqing. Mr. Hsu was born in July 1951 in Gukeng Township, Yunlin County. Since childhood, he enjoyed carving figures out of wood, and over time, he became proficient at sculpting lifelike puppet heads without any formal training. He would then paint various characters from his imaginative world with vivid colors, each full of spirit, which led him into the world of puppet carving.

The Origin of Yanqing: The Yanqing Puppet Carving Studio was established in 1974 by Mr. Hsun Yanqing. Mr. Hsun Yanqing was born in July 1951 in Gukeng Township, Yunlin County. Since childhood, he enjoyed carving various figures out of wood, and over time, he became self-taught in creating lifelike puppet heads from wood. He then used colored pens to depict various characters from his imaginary world, each full of spirit and vibrancy, which led him to immerse himself in the world of puppet carving.
