Weaving Cloud Pavilion Introduction
Zhi Yun Pavilion is located in the Zhuwei Industrial Zone of Douliu City and serves as a branch of the Textile Industry Research Institute. Its goals are to promote high-quality Taiwanese textiles, deepen textile design, and advance the service-oriented manufacturing industry. The name "Zhi Yun" holds a direct significance regarding weaving in Yunlin, where "weaving" represents practical operation and rational presentation, while "cloud" implies dreams and emotional expression. The intrinsic meaning connects rationality and emotion to realize dreams. Through the Zhi Yun Pavilion, we hope to showcase the excellence of Taiwanese textiles, provide access to Taiwan’s textile quality, and enhance your connection with Taiwanese textiles, allowing you to experience the beauty of textiles around you. The Zhi Yun Pavilion officially opened on May 15, 2013, and is accessible for visits by appointment. It regularly hosts result exhibitions and promotional events; through guided machine tours, visitors can understand the manufacturing processes of textiles, while detailed explanations help the public learn about textile applications and the latest fashion trends. It collects high-quality Taiwanese products for display and sale, providing a new marketing channel for Taiwan's advantageous textile manufacturing industry.
