Erjian Mountain Trail Introduction
The ErJian Mountain Trail is approximately 380 meters long, weaving between tea plantations and industrial roads, and connecting to the mountain ridge trail. The views along the way are expansive, and strolling through it, surrounded by mountains, offers a scenic pathway that is advantageous for sunrise viewing. In earlier years, the mountains were filled with longan trees; the ancestors cut down trees to create kilns for charcoal production, which was then sold at markets below, leaving behind many ancient paths that serve as the foundation for today's hiking trails. The trail ends at the ErJian Mountain Leisure Tea Plantation, reputed to be the highest scenic spot, which features an elegant pavilion. Relaxing there, the cool mountain breeze gently brushes by, and the tea plantation resembles a green carpet extending down the mountain slopes, merging with the distant rolling hills, creating a picturesque scene reminiscent of a paradise on earth.
