Shigidang Introduction
Located in Gancuo Village, the Shigandang was established by the ancestors to bless the local area, and it has a history of over three hundred years. The current structure is a result of renovations carried out by local residents eighty years ago. Every year during the Dragon Boat Festival, there are performances and ceremonies to pay respect to the deity. Next to Shigandang, there is an inverted banyan tree, which has a grand shape and lush foliage, and is also worshipped alongside Shigandang during the Dragon Boat Festival.
