Jianhu Ciguang Temple Introduction
Ciguang Temple is located in Gukeng Township, Yunlin County, at the scenic Jianhu Mountain. Surrounded by the serene Jian Lake, it features year-round flowing water reflecting the sky, with Jianhu Mountain forest providing shade against the clouds behind. To the west, it overlooks the vast Chianan Plain, and to the east, it is protected by the Central Mountain Range and the Dajianshan. Attraction Features: Ciguang Temple has undergone two reconstructions, with the overall architecture completed in October 2003. It showcases a modest and reserved Northern architectural style. Since being led by Master Yuanjiao, Ciguang Temple has experienced over thirty years and two reconstructions, during which it has consistently implemented religious teachings, education, and charity work for the benefit of the community. Now, with its solemn temple established, Ciguang Temple humbly rejoices in sharing and forging countless positive connections with monks from all directions.
