Jianhu Ciguang Temple Introduction
Cig Guang Temple is located in the Jianhu Mountain area of Gukeng Township, Yunlin County. Surrounded by the natural Jianhu Lake, the temple is illuminated by the flowing water year-round, reflecting the sky above. It is backed by the lush forests of Jianhu Mountain and overlooks the expansive Chianan Plain to the west, with the Central Mountain Range and Mount Dajian protecting it to the east. Attraction Features: The Cig Guang Temple, which has been rebuilt twice, completed its overall construction in October 2003, showcasing a humble and reserved northern architectural style. Under the leadership of Master Yuan Jiao for over thirty years, the temple has undergone two reconstructions while continuing its work in Dharma propagation, education, and charity projects, consistently fulfilling its mission to benefit others. Today, with its solemn environment, Cig Guang Temple is joyful and humbly delighted to cultivate countless good relationships with the monastic community from all directions.
