Yunling Hill Introduction
The Zero-Dead-Angle Sea of Clouds at the intersection of Yunlin, Chiayi, and Nantou is located at Yunding Hill. Here, you can find art sculptures pointing to the three counties, and the observation platform provides a 360-degree view, allowing you to take in the sunrise, the magnificent sea of clouds, and the mountain scenery of tea plantations. As noon approaches, the mist swirls, creating a feeling of being in another world, especially suited for early risers who start their journey with the sunrise. Yunding Hill spans Yunlin County, Chiayi County, and Nantou County, with an elevation of about 1,650 meters, offering an excellent new perspective for viewing sunrises, sunsets, and the sea of clouds, which at times can roll upward amidst shifting mist and mountain breezes. Each season presents a different scene of the sea of clouds. The human-shaped sculpture at the triangulation point on the summit indicates directions towards the three counties, cleverly signifying this special geographical location across Yunlin, Chiayi, and Nantou.
