The Deep Bamboo Sea, a mystical paradise in Taiwan often referred to as the Kyoto of Taiwan, is located at an altitude of 1,600 meters and can only be reached by winding mountain roads. Originally built as a shelter from the rain, the eight bamboo pavilions have a total of 52 corners, which is how it got its name. Strolling through the bamboo forest near the homestay not only provides tranquility away from the hustle and bustle but also occasionally allows for sightings of the Blue-bellied Pitta weaving through, resembling a fairyland.

Wuyuanliangjiao Introduction

In the deep bamboo forest, Yuyuan Liangjiao, situated at an elevation of 1,600 meters, can be reached by winding mountain roads. Originally renovated as a shelter from the rain, there are a total of eight bamboo pavilions with 52 corners, hence the name. Strolling through the bamboo forest near the guesthouse not only provides a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle but also occasionally allows one to spot the Blue-bellied Pitta passing through, resembling a fairyland.

Transportation Methods：Take the Dou-Nan Interchange and head towards the Dou-Liu Outer Ring Road, then continue on Caoling Highway. At the entrance of the Caoling Tunnel, turn left onto the fork road leading up the mountain, which will take you directly to Dongbi Mountain Villa via the old Caoling Elementary School.

Parking Information：Small parking lot, please contact Dongbi Mountain Villa for shuttle service for large vehicles.
